Cholecystokinin
Cholecystokinin (CCK or CCK-PZ) is a peptide hormone of the gastrointestinal system, it stimulates the digestion of fat and proteins. It is synthesized and secreted by enteroendocrine cells in the duodenum, it results in the release of digestive enzyme and bile, and suppresses the hunger.
Cholecysokinin secretion is stimulated by introduction of hydrochloric acid, amino acids, or fatty acids into the stomach or duodenum. At first, it stimulates the gallbladder to release bile into the intesting. Then stimulate the secretion of pancreatic juice and induce satiety.
