Galanin
Galanin is a biologically active neuropeptide, it is widely distributed in the nervous and endocrine systems. Galanin is an inhibitory and hyperpolarizing neuropeptides, it can inhibit the release of neurotransmitter, especially for acetylcholine.
Moreover, galanin is involved in different neuronal funtions, like memory, epileptic activity, spinal reflexes, feeding.
