Gonadotropin Releasing Peptide
Gonadotropin releasing hormone is a tropic peptide hormone, it is synthesized and released from GnRH neurons in hypothalamus. Gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) is a releasing hormone, which is responsible for the release of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) from the anterior pituitary. GnRH peptide is the key regulator in the reproductive axis, it determines the pattern of secretion.
