Hemokinin
Hemokinin-1 (HK-1) is a tachykinin peptide, it is a member of the mammalian tachykinin peptide family. HK-1 is unique as it is expressed in blood cells, while other tachykinins are in the nervous system. It is a neurokinin-1(NK-1) receptor agonist, which is involved in many physiological and pathophysiological functions. Such as: Immune regulation, Respiratory and endocrine functions, Tumor genesis, and Pain inflammation modulation.
HK-1 has similar structural features with antimicrobial peptides (AMPs), but without efficient antimicrobial.
Notice: All peptides are only for research purposes, Not for clinical use.
