MCD Peptides
Mast Cell Degranulating (MCD) peptide is an anti-inflammatory agent. At low concentrations, the degranulative mediates of mass cells will evoke an inflammatory response. This also can act as a neurotoxin to block the class of voltage-gated potassium channels. MCD has ability to release histamin from mast cells, it is harmless compound peripherally.
