Osteostatin
Osteostatin (OSN) is a ploypeptide with residues 107-139 of PTHrP. It is a fragment of parathyroid hormone-related protein, it regulates bone formation and keratinocyte proliferation. OSN is a effective inhibitor of osteoclastic bone resorption, it can promote bone repair in bone defects. In addition, OSN can also improve arthritis and controls bone loss.
