Phytochelatins
Phytochelatins (PCs) are small, cysteine-rich peptides, they can bind heavy metal ions via thiolate coordination. Phytochelatins are oligomers of glutathione, which are produced by the enzyme phytochelatin synthase. They act as chelators, and are critical for heavy metal detoxification.
Notice: All peptides are only for research purposes, Not for clinical use.
