Scyliorhinin
Scyliorhinins I (SCY I) and II (SCY II) are fish tachykinins, which are isolated firstly from Dogfish gut (Scyliorhinus caniculus).
Comparing the amino acid sequence of Scyliorhinins with other tachykinins, SCY I has structural similarity to physalaemin, while SCY II to neurokinin A, neurokinin B and kassinin 1. Both SCY I and SCY II belong to tachykinin family of polypeptide with the the C-terminal amino acid sequence Phe-X-Gly-Leu-Met-NH2.
