Custom Synthesis Technology
Peptides synthesis is the chemical joining process of two or more amino acids via peptide bonds. The typical amide bonds are formed by condensation reaction of the carboxyl group and the amino group from the growing peptide chain.
Chemical Peptide Synthesis
Chemical peptide synthesis normally occurs from the C- to N-terminus direction, it is a precise step-wise addition of one amino acid at once.
Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis
Solid phase peptide synthesis starts with the C-terminal end anchoring to a resin polymer, then leaves the N terminal amine unit to attach another N-protected amino acid unit freely. Then, the newly added amino acid will undergo de-protection of N-terminal amine. Thereby, allows the addition of another N-protected amino acid unit.
The assembling continues by repeating cycle of coupling, washing, and de-protection reactions. The final peptide will be cleaved from the anchoring resin and purified once synthesis complete.

Liquid phase peptide synthesis is ideal for short peptides, such as dipeptides.

Peptide Purification Method
Despite the high efficiency of most peptide synthesis methods, many synthesis processes still generate undesired impurities, because of the incomplete deprotection, unwanted reactions between free protecting groups, truncation and/or deletion of amino acids, isomers.
Among these methods, RP-HPLC is the most widely purification process. Different from the conventional HPLC separates products by the concentration of polar solvents on mobile phase. RP-HPLC can capture hydrophobic molecules from aqueous solutions, then release them in function of hydrophobicity. This is easier to separate required peptides from undesired impurities.
